Citrus Fresh

Citrus Fresh is a spirit lifter. During pregnancy, mamas tend to have frequent mood swings. This oil can be used for various applications that range from lifting mood and reducing stress to adding a fresh, citrusy aroma to a room. Also, in childbirth, it can help lessen the anxiety during labor.

If you are trying to conceive, this oil supports our liver and lymph systems. Our liver’s function is to process and eliminate irregularities, toxins, and imbalances in our bodies. So promoting a healthy liver and lymph system supports healthy fertility. You can apply Citrus Fresh oil directly to the liver area and massage.

Caution: avoid contact with the sun 12hrs after application. This regards only skin applications, sun may be enjoyed as usual, if the oil is used in the diffuser.

Thieves Aromabright Toothpaste

During pregnancy, hormonal changes can increase the acidity in the mouth, leading to an increase in cavities. This also can be due to an increased sugar intake caused by cravings and a decrease in attention to preventive dental care. This doesn’t increase tooth loss, but it can be alarming. Good dental hygiene is even more important during pregnancy.

Mothers may have sensitive teeth during pregnancy. But that’s ok. Thieves Aromabright Toothpaste may support a healthy dental feeling. This toothpaste cleanses and polishes teeth safely, while premium essential oils provide a refreshing, minty-sweet taste and long-lasting fresh breath.

After each meal, brush your teeth and feel fresh!

Powerful Positions for Labor

If your goal is to “get things moving” in labor, there are specific positions you can use that are known to do just that. Gravity and movement play key roles in the progression of birth and it’s important to use both of these to your advantage when possible.

Powerful positions that can help speed up labor:

  1. Standing or Walking – It helps you work with gravity, allowing your pelvis to open and your baby to move down into your birth canal.
  2. Rocking – Rocking, either on a chair or swaying back and forth, allows your pelvis to move and encourages the baby to descend.
  3. Squatting – Like standing, squatting also employs Newton’s finest while opening up the pelvis to give your baby more room to move on down.
  4. Leaning over or kneeling –  it encourages the baby to move forward, taking the pressure off your back.
  5. Side-lying – Better than lying on your back because it doesn’t compress the major veins in your body (which could compromise blood flow to your baby), side lying is a good option if you’re too tired for squatting or sitting.

Rosemary

If you can’t really take a break, but are emotionally simply tired and drained, Rosemary oil can bring you mental alertness. Especially useful after a pregnancy. It may help you really feel connected to the universe and awakened. Rosemary oil may make you feel like you are living your own deepest truth and being completely true to yourself and your path in life. When you feel like you are completely scattered it bundles energies and brings focus. It’s a bit like blinkers. No unnecessary distractions. Focus.

The ancient Greeks and Romans also used it as a sign of loyalty. Loyalty to oneself. First to self, then to others. When we are more loyal to others than to ourselves, our energy, our soul dissipates and we feel as if we are stuck in a foggy tangle. The circulation and concentration suffer as a result. It is also said that rosemary will protect against witchcraft and enchantment. Rosemary used to be a symbol of love, loyalty, honesty and transparency and was therefore historically often used as jewelry for men and women at weddings. It was also traditionally woven into bridal headdresses because it was believed to grant fertility to young brides.

Not only supporting levels of the go getter hormone “testosterone” in women and men, Rosemary oil is also linked to fertility. Apply to inner lower arms, forehead, as perfume, or diffuse.

Caution: only use before and after pregnancy. Don’t use it when pregnant.

Clary Sage

Clary sage is the most recommended essential oil to support the body balancing levels of estrogen – a necessary hormone for conception. Excess estrogen can affect womens’ hormone balance, making it more difficult to get pregnant. Clary sage supports the body with its estrogen balance. It also supports the body to strengthen the lining of the uterus. When I visited a farm of Young Living in Idaho, they told a story of the first time they planted it there. All the deer came and ate all the plants. That season, the woodsmen reported an unusual increase of deer 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

Young Living had to look for another farm to cultivate it. Now our Clary Sage oil is planted in Europe. Safe. If you’d like to support your body maintaining the optimum balance between the hormones that are needed for pregnancy, you can use this oil by:

  • Adding a few drops in your hand and breathing in deeply for a few seconds.
  • You can also put the oil in a diffuser for an aromatic foreplay. Well, you actually just smell it, but the effect is what’s exciting!
  • You can combine the oil with a carrier oil, apply topically and massage your desired area.
  • Adding 4-6 drops to your bath.

Caution: only use before and after pregnancy. Don’t use it when pregnant.

Acceptance

“Accept – then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it… this will miraculously transform your whole life.” Eckhard Tolle “What? But I don’t want to accept.. it’s just that … I can’t..”

When mamas-to-be are facing new challenges or changes, this can be really tough and therefore not easy to be at peace with one’s new life. But acceptance oil is here to help. Place 1-2 drops of Acceptance blend into your hands, rub them together, and cup hands over nose, inhale deeply, and repeat a few times. You can also diffuse it to enjoy the tranquil scent that promotes peace and fortitude. I like putting it on my solar plexus. My “me-chakra”. Because after all, if we can accept ourselves it’s a lot easier to accept everything else too.

Remember: What you resist, persists. What you accept, transforms.
